Komodo's charity partner, Many Hopes, continues to work with children across the world who have experienced slavery, trafficking or abuse. We support Many Hopes in their efforts to rescue these children and offer them the opportunities that an education provides.

Here is the most recent update from Many Hopes:

• All 158 of the students supported by Many Hopes in Bolivia worked hard and passed on to the next grade level in both numeracy and literacy skills. Most of these children had been abandoned and, as a result, had experienced gaps in their education or had never even been to school before.
  
  
• In addition to education, Many Hopes supports recovery for children who have been rescued from trafficking. As well as providing a safe space, medical treatment and counselling, the Recovery Centre in Ghana offers therapy in accessible formats for the children. They particularly enjoy dance therapy, as you can see in the picture below.

• Many Hopes has also announced the incredible news that four of the students we have been supporting have been accepted into University courses. This is no mean feat in a country where less than 1% of eligible young people are able to pursue third-level education!

All of this is thanks to donations which help pay school fees to allow children to access all-important education. We are able to make these donations to Many Hopes thanks to you, our Komodo subscribers, so thank you once again for helping give children across the world the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
